System Description

We suggested creating a technology that transforms some of the power produced by offshore wind farms into environmentally friendly hydrogen. The idea includes a desalination plant that uses reverse osmosis to turn salt water into fresh water that can then be used in a PEM electrolyser to create hydrogen. The hydrogen is then compressed and stored for usage during periods of low wind energy availability.
